This is the best mat we have discovered. It really does trap rain and mud. Our pooch likes to sit on the mat when she comes into our mudroom. Cleans easily. I suggest you buy two, we dont put them in the dryer, just air dry so we always have a spare just in case.

I have three muddy mats & I just ordered three more. I have two medium and one of the largest. They are terrific. I can’t believe how much dirt they collect from the foot traffic at my back door. I’m putting one by each of my doors. My dog thinks it’s her bed. She is too big for it but she’ll curl up to fit. I love that they’ve come out with a true dog bed but I’ll have to wait for a great sale. My only complaint and it’s not a big deal but the pile is too high to fit right up to my patio door so the area between the mat and the door shows footprints & dirt. They fit by my other doors. The extra large rug is too big for my washer so I have to take it to the laundry mat. I keep it put up so my grandson can lay on it when he comes. The pile is very soothing to him….he runs his hands thru it. I’ve had my first three for about two years and they still look new even after multiple washings.

These days it’s hard to find anything of good quality. We purchased our first muddy mat several years ago to use as a back door mat. It ended up being too thick for our door to open and close properly so I folded it off to the side and used it as, a stopping area for our dog when he comes in from outside. I use the word “dry”, And he will go to the mat whether we come in from the front or the back. We also use it for a placemat for training as well as he loves to pull it around the room and play with his toys by hiding them underneath and tossing it around. I purchased the red. It has been washed multiple times and holds up beautifully to both play and washing without fading. This is probably the best quality item I have purchased in years. I highly recommend it. There’s no pulling, no tearing, no fading, it is excellent quality.

I was really hoping Muddy Mat would live up to its claims, and it absolutely does! My dog loves going in and out all day, especially when it's raining. We've had a lot of rain recently, which used to create a huge mess. Now, I have him sit on the Muddy Mat, and it effectively wipes his paws clean. It’s more than just a mat – it’s a fantastic solution for keeping my floors spotless and dry. Highly recommend for all pet owners!

I have eight Muddy Mats now: one at both exterior doors, one folded in the dog crate, a set on the front floor of my car, and the long runner across the back floor of the car. They are incredibly versatile and effective. I still need something for the trunk, but I can already see how much cleaner my home and car are thanks to these mats. Highly recommend!
